For the final round, I appreciated the addition of flora and fauna, as well as the way the core images from my original collage remain visible. I also like the inclusion of text that captures the essence of the work, “Weather for Today: Cloudy”, which subtly reflects on our planet and its changing climate.
It was always a surprise to see what others added to the collages. I did take the liberty of reusing some of the additional papers and redistributing them within the composition.

This is the fourth round of Toby Paige’s starter collage. I love the irregular shape of the piece. I flattened the multiple layers that were stacked on one another, connected them horizontally, and transformed the collage into a single-sided work.

my initial collage: A juxtaposition of nature and nurture, the instinctive, time-tested survival knowledge of species that roam the earth, with the comparatively brief presence of humans and all we have accomplished, both for good and for harm.
On the cover, I added a small pocket with materials for anyone to use a gesture of passing knowledge forward, like a gift left for the next traveler.
