Berkeley Commonplace is a 501 c3 nonprofit public benefit corporation based in Berkeley, California. We produce inclusive, community art projects and creative activities designed to empower individuals and strengthen communities. We encourage balancing independence and personal freedom with social and environmental responsibility. We recognize creativity as an invaluable, universal human faculty, and freedom of expression as a natural right. We also consider privacy and freedom from harassment as natural rights. This policy is concerned with the privacy of our audience, including but not limited to subscribers, participants, partners, collaborators, and donors.

If you subscribe to our mailing list, register for a project, activity or event, donate on our website, or submit any form, you can expect to receive emails from us. We interpret all these friendly gestures as consent to receive relevant communications from us, using the name and email address you provide.
