Hello! Had a great time adding to Melanie’s collage last month. I sent that one off to Victoria at the end of November. (Picture attached, in the black box with strings)
Received two collages to start off December, both Victoria’s and Emma’s. I got started on Victoria’s last weekend, and will add to Emma’s soon. Also attached below are pictures of this month’s work. I want to add how much I have valued this project in my life recently. I can feel my creativity shifting and expanding as I think on and fiddle with the collages we are co-creating. Thanks everyone and happy holidays!

Here is the stage 2 collage from Victoria. I had a lot of fun integrating some line work into the collage. I’m excited to see where it goes!

Sent my stage 1 collage off to Victoria a few days ago. I forgot to take a nice photo of it, but I do have this sort of blurry one my boyfriend took of it!
I’ve gotten started on adding to Laura’s collage and am really excited about where it’s going. Currently, I’m using clips and pins to keep things in place so I can keep moving things around as it evolves. Having lots of fun with this project so far, really enjoying the challenge and how it’s made art a regular practice in my life again.

oh! it was fun to spend some time with this stage one of collaging. i had a photo printed on a canvas that i didn’t dig so much. so recreating this hanging canvas was really interesting. the intention was to “get going” and there is no secret message in my start other than working with what i had at hand and actually trying not to think too much.
