Rani and Jennifer’s starter collages, sent to Rani Jan 22nd. Enjoyed getting to play with color on Jennifer’s, I really liked the color scheme that was already there, added the open 24hrs sign, the architectural detail on the left side, and the worn statue that blended so well with the rocks. On Rani’s I wanted to continue having elements be oriented differently so chose to place the graduating women on their own axis. I also added the square of roof tiles to continue the browns and attention to texture in some of the other pieces. Then I added the owl’s bedazzled tear and star coming out of the tuba, mostly to be able to contribute while not taking up any more space.

I am sending Jean’s collage to Jessica. I’m going to include a sheet with names, etc as there was no identifying information with the collage. Also, there was a loose piece of ephemera, made from Ricola cough drop wrappers. I’m not sure whether it belongs on the collage, so I will send it along separately.
