The collage has gone full circle. Fine work and well done everybody, there was actually nothing more to do with the art “Peace” so I just added 4 small hands and declare it finish-ed + ready…
on the way for Marty at headquarters

Thank you, or as said in Muwekma Ohlone language: Kiš horše ’ek-hinnan for an enjoyable and fabulous experience

All the best

Rachel Bühler, February 1, 2026

I’ve just received from Christina: her accordion originator (sent by mistake?), my originator, and Henry’s originator.

Henry’s and mine were mounted on large thick cardstock by Sandra, and although lovely, the shipping costs are prohibitive to receive and to send. Since my originator was used to mount together with Henry’s, I took the liberty of cutting off my originator from this piece, and cropping it further so that it easily fits into a flat mailer. As for my originator, this was also mounted on larger, thick heavy cardstock, so I folded it in half and held it folded with paperclips so it could fit into a flat mailer.

– to Henry’s originator, I added a fish, some bubbles, a smaller butterfly, and blue dots… alas I think I overdid it on the dots 🙃

– to my originator I added a hot water balloon, text, and circles.

Happily now that they fit in a flat mailer, I’m able to pop them in the mailbox on my street and don’t have to find a way to get to the post office to send them off as packages.

Farewell and thank you for this unique opportunity to collaborate internationally with others through mail and creativity.

Rachel Bühler, January 14, 2026

Received Sandra’s starter with add-ons by Cristina and Kristin. To the Sunflower and Butterfly I added a sleeping woman, flowers on the base, hydrangea petals, and some gold ink dots. Off to Henry in a couple of days!

Originator – Kristin Vanderlip Taylor

Mmm, nice colour combinations and story
Now also a “wood green lake”… and is it a boat?
Well, maybe yes and even no…

On the way to Sandra

It was fun to work with this fold out piece of Cristina Sayers, so ok now it goes to Sandra in Oregon
Bests to you all from
Henry

Rachel Bühler, November 6, 2025

Received Kristin’s Originator piece, to which Christina had added. I added a couple of flowers, a couple of figures, and some pearls. Off to Henry this goes!

Rachel Bühler, November 5, 2025

Happy to receive Cristina Sayers’ originator piece, which consists of 8 panels. It was quite the challenge figuring out what to add as the panels are full… so I added a person to each panel. If other team members need to remove one or two of the figures so they can add to the piece, it should be relatively easy to peel them off.

Sandra Westford, October 24, 2025

This was a little squirrelly. I received images from both Henry and Rachel at the same time. Rachel sent two completely separate images, one that Henry added to. I created a background, cropped both Henry’s hands and Rachel’s fig and mounted them in relation to each other. I took the second image, a wonderful watercolor flower, and made a photo lithographic plate of the image. I then printed it in silver ink onto the blue green background and mounted the cropped flower in relation to the print.

Project Coordinator, September 27, 2025

The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has gone on strike following Thursday’s government announcement of sweeping service cutbacks. Canada Post’s operations will shut down for the duration of the strike; mail and parcels will not be processed or delivered. Canada Post promises, “All mail and parcels in the postal network will be secured and delivered as quickly as possible once operations resume.

Last year, there was a Canada Post strike between November 15 and December 17. It was a cause for concern, but I think the affected groups were able to wait it out and complete the project without lasting impact.

Thanks for your patience! Keep in touch. Here’s hoping…

Rachel Bühler’s both works, I made some contributions and they are now on the way to Sandra Westford

Henry Grahn Hermunen, September 16, 2025

So here is my experimental start… hmm, I like the white background, well, if you enjoy the concept feel free to fill up with something “indicating” for example

Sandra Westford, September 11, 2025

I started with a drawing of a sunflower. My next step was to photocopy it and then carefully cut it out of a matt black paper. I then mounted it on a metallic gold paper.

Rachel Bühler, September 3, 2025

Decided to supply 2 very simple backgrounds to get started. Recipient to choose one or both.
