Postal Collage Working Groups
In the days prior to the September 1 launch, working groups are formed and sequenced.
Groups are arranged by the project coordinator.
Each group will have five members with a 3/2 or 2/3 blend of returning participants and people participating for the first time. When assembling groups, the general aim is maximum regional diversity; when sequencing them, the aim is minimum distance between sequential collaborators.
Low-postage groups send flat, flexible, paper envelopes only.

International PACKAGE delivery is unaffordable.
International PACKAGE delivery originating in the USA is prohibitively expensive and prone to Customs complications and delays. Sending ‘Letters’ and ‘Flats’ requires no Customs form and is an affordable alternative to package delivery. International groups including US Americans will be LOW postage groups—sending flat, flexible, paper envelopes only—no boxes, no rigid or padded envelopes. Postal category DETAILS.
Groups may be self-organized.
Anyone may recruit collaborators and organize a group on their own. Potential collaborators should read and understand the Project Description, Notes, and Schedule. All participants must register.
Additional considerations when recruiting collaborators and assembling groups:
• Each group will consist of five collaborators. NOTE: It is permissible for “one collaborator” to be a couple, a family, or whatever collective arrangement that might be made.
• When a group is assembled, a sequence must be set; each collaborator must provide a mailing address to the person who precedes them in that sequence.
• Collaborators are strongly encouraged to communicate with fellow group members regarding progress and delays. Each group will have its own webpage for updates and other communications and documentation.
