The Postal Collage Project follows a six-month, six-stage timeline from September through February, with delivery deadlines recurring on the 1st of the month from October through March. Therefore, each stage can be associated with a month—Initiationin September; Contribution-1 in October, Contribution-2 in November, and so on … until, Completion in February.
When sending a work-in-progress, please aim for the deadline; early delivery may be preferable to late, but the closer to on-time, the better.
If you do ever find yourself with two collages at once, even if they arrive together, you can be sure they are at different stages; one has further to go than the other. If you know who the originator is, you can determine a collage’s stage by looking at the delivery sequence. If a collage is received ahead of schedule, there’s no need to maintain the pace. Aim for the deadline.
The ‘sent by‘ dates, below, are recommendations aimed at assuring timely deliveries. Actual delivery times will vary. The ‘received by’ dates are the deadlines.
