I sent both Dara’s & Janet’s together yesterday morning, and Janet should hopefully have them by Wednesday (tracking info attached).
I still have my own to possibly alter and send in (or keep) and I hope to figure that out tomorrow before I travel again.

I sent Roberta’s collage to Janet today. I was so inspired when I first saw it and I had so many ideas! Most of them involved layering over the transparencies a bit though, and I spent a bit too much time worrying about adhesives and whether or not they’d stick. In the end, I worked around the edges.
This week I also received Israel’s collage from Roberta. Loved playing princess for a minute!

I received Roberta’s starter this weekend…from the glue marks on the envelope, I suspect a couple of transparencies were there that got knocked off in transit :-( The one on the back was loose, but made it though! And the actual collage and extra bits inside are just fine! Looking forward to playing with your piece!

Looking Forward To This Process!
I am new to this project and I am looking forward to collaborating!
In my own work, I sometimes include eyes and lips that I have fussy-cut from fashion magazines, so I decided to include them here in my own starter collage. I am curious to see how other people interact with it.
I didn’t have the easiest time assembling this piece. I layered everything down (on a paper that I had added some watercolor paint to) and then I took a photo so I could get everything back in place as I was gluing down… but almost immediately I got everything backwards. Oh well. I guess there’s no mistakes in art, only opportunities, right?!
I mailed my starter to Janet 9/16 and she should receive it today, 9/18.
I look forward to seeing what the rest of our group is up to!
