I sent my starter collage to Elisabeth this afternoon. I built the collage “Faces” by recycling some watercolors I have been accumulating over the last year from a monthly Saturday figure drawing class at my local Arnot Art Museum (Marty knows this museum well!). I am looking forward to seeing how much of the fragmented figures will remain or even be recognizable by the time the collage returns to me in the spring of 2027! I do enjoy this part of the process – anticipation! I will open the package I received from Michelle on Friday and sit with her starter collage before beginning to work on it.
