Final round! This piece is on its way to Berkeley. I shrank it down to two pages. The oval-ish nest/eye shapes wanted to continue. And maybe we all could use some flower power right now. Many thanks to everyone for your contributions along the way.

I sent two images to Jonathan.
One of them was Pat’s. The other was Jonathan’s returning.
I cut Pat’s up and reassembled it with cut up pieces of an acrylic painting on watercolor paper a friend started then discarded.
On Jonathan’s I cut up several stickers I’ve been wanting to find use for to add figures, shapes, letters, lines and circles for faces.

Sent Ricki’s collage to Jonathan on Nov 25. Realize I have neglected to make updates here. I honestly completely forgot about this, so am grateful for the email reminder, which I just noticed.

These two collages are now traveling together to Kristin.
I added some more reds, a cutout of marbled paper to go with Pat’s Matisse-ish shapes, and a little bling on the one.
I added a few bits and bobs in pairs to Jonathan’s collage. I included the mirror but did not attach it, thinking I would leave the placement to Jonathan’s discretion.

I just mailed my initial piece. CDW, I think you’ve come up with a solution to my concern about leaving room on the piece for other artists to work. Do you want us to add more to each of the pieces or just one? I ended up covering over half my sheet but I expect some, or a lot, of the original piece to be covered up.

Sending my collage start out into the world! There are three 9 x 12 parts that I will attach together at the end. It’s pretty wide open right now, so it will be exciting to see what direction it takes as our group makes additions.
