It is in the post on it way back to Marty to process for this years RTCP15 and now titled “PARTY NIGHT at the DOLLS HOUSE. Looking forward to seeing this years exhibition result.

Daniel’s starter collage was mailed to him in Dublin this week, Tuesday, Feb 10th. My apologies for the delay. I’ve enjoyed working with everyone’s’ collages and I’m looking forward to seeing them at the exhibit in May!!

Received Jennifer’s collage and my own on February 2nd. Jennifer’s made me want to go on a journey with the heels and hat! So I played off that retro vibe.
I finished mine: freedom of fish enjoying Daniel’s suggestion of the sphinx opening the door for interaction between fish and humans. This project has been a delight. Thank you group members!!

Happily received Daniel’s and Judy’s collages on November 7th. Spent most of the afternoon thinking and adding today, November 9. I was really attracted to the yellow in Judy’s piece, so added more….it’s feeling like a theme is emerging, can’t wait to see what Judy names it. Daniel’s house drew me right in. Might have added too much but it just kept showing me more.

Here is Judy’s collage in progress and my additions. Piece felt very linear so I decided to add abstract elements for interest.
Here are my additions to Daniel’s collage. Such a fun piece with various elements – almost like a pop-up book. I kept the theme in mind and also added some paint splatter for colour and pattern.

The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has gone on strike following Thursday’s government announcement of sweeping service cutbacks. Canada Post’s operations will shut down for the duration of the strike; mail and parcels will not be processed or delivered. Canada Post promises, “All mail and parcels in the postal network will be secured and delivered as quickly as possible once operations resume.“
Last year, there was a Canada Post strike between November 15 and December 17. It was a cause for concern, but I think the affected groups were able to wait it out and complete the project without lasting impact.
