This is Patricia’s original collage, now on its way back to Patricia. We added cyanotype scraps and several pieces from Erin’s extras. Thank you, Erin, for the stash!
That stash includes three or four copies of an illustration of a bounding hare. One of those hares is now in the corner of a collage in Group 38—on its way to Italy and then India.

This is Erin’s original. We forgot to take a photo before we began.
We adhered the remaining ‘starter squares,’ plus some of the bagged items. We cut the collage in two along its fold-line.
In preparation for international travel—to lighten the load and assure the required uniform thickness—we set aside the 12 blank squares and the little bag. The two pieces, formerly the upper and lower halves, were posted to the UK on Tuesday.

This is the first time I’m participating in this project so I wasn’t quite sure how much or how little of a start to send to the next person in the group. I didn’t really give any notes other than being inspired by collage artist Mark Hearld. I’m really excited to see where the group goes with what I sent them!
