What delightful surprises my collaborators offered my initial start. I am pleased with the end result and hope they are as well. Thank you all.

Jan Schwenke, February 12, 2026
Received MiMo’s collage and my own today (2/12). Will hustle!
Michelle Morin (Mi Mo), February 2, 2026
I mailed the collage originated by Nicole back on January 7 or so. Here’s what it looked like after my contribution.

Received collage originated by Nicole
Dorothy Tarrant, December 21, 2025
Received collages originated from Jan and MiMo this week. I appreciated their notes and work. A good challenge to add to each.
I will return them to Rosa per her request.

Ever get the feeling that time is flying? In Nicole’s original composition, the best way to handle that sensation may be to put on a hat, your best shoes, and go along for the ride!

Nicole Ching, December 8, 2025
here’s how the most recent collage i sent out looks! and ive just received the piece originating from Rosa in the mail this week too. excited to work on that.

Mi Mo, December 5, 2025
Mailed out on Dec 1. I think I was stage 4 on this? Not sure. Happy to add more partygoers to the scene!

Late post of the prior collage I worked on.

Nicole Ching, November 20, 2025
Got delayed with October’s piece but now it’s been delivered alongside November’s edition to Rosa!
I salvaged some petal stickers and cut up some of the watercolor gradient paintings MiMo made, (to decorate the envelops she sent me) for October’s collage.
For November, I added a lot of black and white imagery to try and balance the tones in the collage. This was a bit challenging to me to figure out how to embed harmony in a piece with so much going on, but it seems my results lean surrealist and I ended up having fun with my additions!

Jan Schwenke, November 15, 2025
Rosa’s “playful” collage is on its way to MiMo, maybe looking a little less exotic since my additions.

Dorothy Tarrant, November 8, 2025
Originator-Nicole
Fun start with pic of earth from space with accompanying creatures.
Rosa’s addition of constellations of sequins
Doing laundry, taking lint out of the dryer sparked the idea of using it as clouds.
Fun challenge!

Dorothy Tarrant, October 22, 2025
Seeing Rosa’s work and reading her inspiration brought out a playfulness in me. I went straight to my box of Washi tape to add colors and shapes.
One mistake is, I took my photo at night under pinkish lightbulbs. I didn’t realize the colors of the photo had changed until I had already dropped it in the mail.

Jan Schwenke, October 17, 2025
Dorothy’s collage with my additions are on their way to Mi Mo.

Michelle Morin, October 2, 2025
Stage 2 is en route to Nicole!

Nicole Ching, October 1, 2025
First timer in this postal collage series. So much to look forward to. Will send my original out tomorrow, making it in time for the deadline– phew! I’ve received a wonderful piece from MiMo a few weeks ago and will start on that soon too.

Jan Schwenke, September 26, 2025
Dorothy’s collage has arrived in MA, 9/26.
Michelle Morin (Mi Mo), September 22, 2025
I sent my Stage 1 collage a while ago, but didn’t log a status report at the time. Here’s what it looked like.

Dorothy Tarrant, September 20, 2025
It was hard to leave space, not something I am accustomed to. Enjoy filling in the blank, adding over and/or taking away. I am excited to be a part of this project and our group.

Jan Schwenke, September 15, 2025
Hello, everyone,
As a first-time participant, I think I may have made the rookie mistake of doing too much?
I have sent my collage off to MiMo today along with the encouragement to “have at it” which I happily extend to all of you who follow her additions and potentially necessary subtractions.😉
Here we go…
