I sent the final collage to Berkeley Commonplace today. I made no changes–I thought it was just right as is. I love how the solid trunk exploded into words and sky. Thank you to everyone for managing the broken bark. I won’t make that mistake again!

Per the chart, Sarah Rosebach’s collage is presently with me. However, I do not have anybody’s collage at this time. I sent on the Liz Taylor collage. It might have been Sarah Rosenbach’s. The enclosed note said Sarah, but there was no last name (and we have two Sarah’s in the group).

I added some color and Betty White to Sarah’s Liz Taylor collage. I’ll probably get it in the mail on Tuesday, Jan 20.
I have put the finishing touches on my own collage. I reduced its size to bring it back down to standard envelope / one stamp size. I loved the orange circles, so I glued three of them back on. Thank to everyone for your contributions. I like the words that emphasize friendship.

Respecting Sarah Stoddard’s color request, I added some circles that match the mood. I also made some marks along the top and added an image of a Nantucket lighthouse at the bottom. This will be first month I get my contribution in the mail on time!

I have been holding on to Jessica’s piece because I did NOT know what to do with it. Sarah’s piece arrived in the mail today, and I knew what to do with Jessica’s piece! I clipped the cute bird and quote from Lesley’s envelope and glued it to Jessica’s collage. I love the Mary Oliver quote. I also glued random words to Jessica’s collage. Many of them are wintery words leftover from Christmas Rolodex cards I have been making.
