We are 6 days in and I noticed in my paper planner that we send our collage with an ‘accompanying informational sheet’ and pasted part that from the website below.
I’ve asked Marty to tell us more, what this includes in addition to name and date. Like, whether this might communicate things aesthetic direction, mood re: notions, palette. sensibility or materials, including constraint . In any case, pass along the sheet with whatever you might like, shepherding it along – name and date the minimum even you don’t want to say or write anything else.
If you can manage to snap a photo of the collage with your contribution before it leaves you and send it to me I would love to post all five collages next to each other on the project page. We might photo it upon arrival to reference what it was once we have started changing it.

STAGE ONE • Initiation and 1st Pass
On a separate piece of paper, each initiator will write their name and the date, plus any expressive, strategic, or documentary information they wish to pass along.
Each initiator will deliver the new work-in-progress (their starter collage) with the accompanying informational sheet to the group member who follows them in the sequence (their send-to person). Thus, each will receive a work-in-progress and info sheet from the group member who precedes them in the sequence (their get-from person).

Got my paper planner 9n the mail today! Notice the default characteristic to low postage envelope mailing sees to be flexibility & thin/thickness. There’s a great flat postage envelope diagram in this link here: https://berkeleycommonplace.org/postal-categories/

Test: Hi everyone, looks like we all appear in the list. In the welcome email the blog w posts from Marty for the previous project 15 have some nice videos of opening the submissions. For installation he suggests indicating the ‘Top’ so he can hang it right. Originators can do that at the beginning, or if you want to wait until your conclusion that’s an interesting idea, and if you want Marty to decide at installation…so many interesting ways things can go! Watching him open collages makes me realize the incredible possibilities people manifest.
